Hey blokes , well now this is the second time ive been ripped by sellers who spin nothing but shit and dont include in the sale or mention in the sale whats wrong with an item .
What has happend is first time i bought a sensored brushless motor and the seller did not give me the sensor cable and when i queried it he said it was mentioned in the add that it was not included to which i know 100000000% it was not mentioned as i would NEVER HAVE BOUGHT IT if it didnt come with the cable as im very new to sensored so would like a complete working paired item ... sure enough i go back to the add and its been deleted and all thats advertised is this " ............ "
Now i received another item described as perfectly working yet its ****ed and the gears clunk and its just a mess , sure enough once again , another seller claiming they said it was mentioned in the add , go back to the add and its been totally deleted and removed
MY ADVICE TO ALL NOW IS IF YOU PM SOMEONE ABOUT THE ITEM , CUT AND PASTE THE ENTIRE ADD IN THE PM SO THAT IF THEY CHANGE REMOVE , DELETE THE ADD , YOU HAVE A BACK UP OF THE ADD IN YOUR PMS . EVEN QUOTE THE ADD IN THE THREAD WHEN YOU SAY " PM SENT " SO THAT ITS ALL BACKED UP AND YOU CAN GO BACK TO THE ASSHOLES AND SHOVE IT IN THEIR FACES WHEN THEY DENY WHAT THEY SAID / DIDNT SAY .
Where did you buy it off? I always keep my pm's or emails and a copy of the add to fall back on if a seller/buyer wants to play games with me.

One thing I have noticed is that there are more scammers out there, on both sides, the seller who doesn't list everything correctly or who "leaves out" key points or the buyer who pays by Paypal waits for the seller to ship (usually non registered) and then claims non arrival.
It's a sign of the times, I'd recommend dealing with someone you trust, I'd prefer to buy a part for $40 from Adam than for $30 from some blow in.
Yeap I had a scammer on ebay trying to get the baja ss kit I had.

Had a few. One guy had a new account with no feedback and had shocking spelling and when I declined his offer to buy he got back to me on another account saying it was his good one yet gave a different name and contact number when I asked for it so I could ring him. There was a phone number in the account feedback area for a past sale so I rang that one and turn out the account had been hijacked by this fool trying to scam me. Had others saying they wanted to buy but it had to go via normal post as they where not home to sign for registered but since it was to big for the post they lost interest when I told them it had to go via courier and that needed photo id on delivery. Ebay is full of scammers and paypal has if anything made it easier for some of them.

Ok cool, i mainly deal is people i know, or get it sent to family that are close to the seller, so it can get checked before i pay for it all.
Yeah you never know what you might get unless you know them or there a trusted seller. Just look at the bitch fight between two members on AUSRC right now but they both sound like right tools so Meh.

the bloke i had the problem with on the sensor wire had over 1300 posts and respectable member on rctech . " FK05 lover "
He seems to have his own mates on there so didnt want to start trouble but i made it known i was pissed about it but left it at that .
He hadnt left feedback yet so dont want to ruin my 30 feedbacks so just dropped it other wise i would have left him a negative for sure as he wasnt atleast even helpfull after i queried it

It's pretty Pathetic really.....i had a Saddle sent via Aust Post, box was massive and was $32.50. Just a case of don't deal with dickheads..
I dont know if he got the new parts or not but for the price it sold for I would still be happy with it judging by the photos in the original sale.

i hate people that only join a forum to sell and buy stuff
they come in with low ball offers and buy it they then sell it on another forum only to make money on it
dont get me wrong i like to pick up a bargin but i have never given a stupid offer
if i get something cheap i sell it for what it owes me or less i once gave a guy a heap of nitro bits really cheap about 6 months later i see them all for sale on ausrc was pretty pissed off
KARMA is a wonderfull thing

Hey RB, if you still need the sensor wire, let me check at home..... I *may* have a dud combo that still has a sensor lead.... if I remember tonight, I'll check (please don't count on my memory, though.....)
As for that AusRC thread, I've had dealings with that Daniel.308 tool before.... I call him a tool for that reason..... the main reason I mostly stay away from there these days is that it seems to have been taken over by 17 yo Uberkids, who never make mistakes, and when they do, their mates all jump in and defend them blindly.
Just another forum crossed off the list....

IMO people under 18 shouldn't be allowed to buy / sell on forums or Ebay, they're not legally allowed to enter into a contract so they should certainly not be allowed to do so on the forums. So often these kids rip ppl off then plead ignorance or hide behind mummy and daddy.
Truth is the scammers and lairs come in all age groups. The older ones tend to scam larger $$ items then the younger ones but buyer beware.
