I'd say so. I think he might still have the motor he used for it. It was on 24 cell nimh, so 8s will be the equivalent lipo voltage, but with higher amp output and 500 or 600g less battery weight. Though Volka now has the ESC that was used, and I have the chassis.

I wonder if 40C is the constant or burst rating, many of these Fantom / Reedy / Intellect companys seem to say its a constant rating, but why is it then that probably the best quality Lipos in the world (Enerland / Polyquest) are only up to 30C constant.

Im massively into the audio visual sceene down here in Melbourne ( infact harder than the RC believe it or not ) and in reply to Nexxs comment , allot of brands claim RMS power outputs but when you look at the specs its pretty dodgey even though they do do what they claim .

1 company will claim 100W output at .001THD ( distortion )
Another company may have the same amp and claim in does 200W and when you look at the fine print its ar .5THD so yeah its louder on the paper but at that level its blindingly distorted so this may be whats happening to Lipos , sort of fudging the specs in order to make them sound like they have the upper edge .

I guess you can only really go by what its like when youve used it or when you get it first hand off someone who has used it .

I can get 2s / 3s / 4s 5000 40c 200 amp continous 80c 400 amp burst hardpacks (desire power)... they only make the 45c pack in a 2s atm. I can get you good prices and theses packs. Pm me for more info
