What transponder setup do most of the clubs run guys?

There pretty pricey so I wanna make sure I get the right one!

Pretty much every club in Australia uses AMB digital decoders and transponders. The only other one you are likely to come accross is the older AMB analogue system but I dont know of any club currently using it

Damn right they're pricey! $3500 for a new decoder....:rolleyes:
We just traded in our older AMBrc decoder for the current AMBrc3 decoder. With a trade in, it was 'only' $1300. I presume they (AMB) trash the old ones to get them off the market.
I don't know of any other timing system available, is there another one that's compatible with AMB (or MRT) transponders?
