i used a tt01 and my bro used a tb02 but tt01's seem to be a popular choice.. unless u spend loads to get something very shiny lol

i use TL-01 and TRF415MS currently. alternating between 16x3 and mamba 4600 brushless.

are you needing info in order to get into it? if so, here we go:

TT-01 and E10 are entry level chassis. motors, everything from brushless to johnson 540 silvercans. doesn't matter, drift is pretty easy-going in terms of what you use. the most basic things will get you drifting.

e10 for me, although i just wacked the mamab in it and now need to upgrade things a bit.
the plastic driveshaft slaps around a little too much and the bushing in the driveshafts need to be replaced with bearing.
the tt01r i had seemed to be way better out of the box.

E10 as well only till i finish my yokomo project,but id still use it she goes alright the E10,could do with some bearings tho

TC4, ta04, ta05, tt01, roadrunner express, corally c4.1, sprint, rs4, micro rs4....
I like my brushed 16x3 setup the best but a mamba max lipo is fine also. Can't think of a car that didn't drift... rc18t maybe

TA04 isnt much of a drifter, to much rear weight and very hard to tune to get them to handle well.

Pro-D .. LRP Sphere TC .. Fantom 10.5 brushless .. Intellect 5000mah 40c Lipos .. also have Yokomo Drift Package x2 (shelved) and HPI Cup Racer with Castle Sidewinder and 4600Kv running NimHs .. comming soon loaded TA02

hey guys just thought i'd start this thread to see what everyone is using.
atm for drift i have a:
team magic e4js with a quark 6.5t motor on a quark mk3
&
TB EVO 5 with speed passion gt v2.0 and reinhard ed. 4t motor.

both are awesome.

looking to get rid of EVO 5 and quark esc with 4t if anyone is interested.

E10's online shops or stannies locally has the alloy center shafts and bearing kits.. i did alo see the e10 spool diff and oneway diff in there when i digging around for bits.

doesn't look like they'll be making those for the e10 buddy. when you're ready for that, an upgrade is a good idea.

bling is very appealing, isn't it :D

Ive seen them on someone's e10 but i cant find the link he posted up.. i'll keep looking tho.

lol the e10 is from the missus, so i cant sell it or else it woulda been gone long ago haha. and instead of letting sit there gathering dust, i want to hop it up just for the sake of it. want to run a brushless in there.

i got other chassis as well:
tamiya tb evo 5 (for sale)
TM E4JS
AE TC5

but want to waste my time and money of e10 :)

I've done the same thing to my E10 :o .... felt sorry for it sitting on the shelf so i decided to hop it up.....

Anodised shaft, replaced all plastic bushing with metal bearing set. Put Lights on it... :o Digital Servo and anodised Motor Mount.

currently have a brushed motor on it with 31T pinion.... :(
I am thinking of putting my MMM or a Velineon ESC + motor... just for fun... (which ever one fits) haven't decided that part yet.... :D
