obviously intent on driving away losi racers, Losi have released another vehicle this week. no, not a b44 contender that racers are begging for, but a 1/36 version of the high roller. a vehicle noted for its.. well i'm not sure its noted for anything because its a toy rc car, not a race rc car.

anyway, heres some pics of the tiny little thing.

R/C is more about fun for many people so who cares if they dont just release race cars. Stupid coments for a news story so why bother. And there all just toys mate.

doesnt look like they are bothered about the racing side of rc any more. Looks like they are turing towards the bashing side of things now...god knows what they are thinking

few losi's in your collection obz :) I think their marketing strategy has worked fine - point taken though on this new potential gimmick.

Anyway never used a 1/36th losi - MLST2 rocks!

A "micro" "monster" truck ..... doesnt quite make sense to me - look at my big tough (1/36th scale ) monster truck. My 4 year old nephew has an rc monster truck that cost half as much and would own (ney, destroy)that thing.

It looks like Losi is shifting direction. They do have their high end 1/8th truggy and buggy in nitro and electric, but everthing below that seems aimed at the basher market. Been a long time since they released a new xxx-t or other 1/10 electric race capable chassis.

Looks like they realised how much of the basher market traxxas has (ie: most of it) and want a piece of the pie. Good business sense really, as they dont really make much money from racers. Good for them, bad for us.
