So what did you think of Star Wars Ep3?

To me, at first, I liked the prequels for what they were. Star Wars was never meant to be a mature audience sci fi trilogy. If you look at the original movies, they are littered with bad acting, corny lines, crapola characters and simple story lines (compared to the standards we are used to now). Ep 1 & 2 followed those same themes and I accepted them for that.

But, in hindsight and after watching them over again, the prequels I guess, just come across as really *weak*. It's like, the formula is there, but the implementation is a bit wayward. Ep 3 seems to have gotten it right.

i agree with Justo... the first two were weak, very weak.

i dont think it will be overly hard for the third one to be better, and since its the bridging movie between the first two crap ones and the last 3 classics, it wont be _that_ hard for it to be good.

throw in some darth vader that we all know and love, end off the movie where the classic #4 started (the _first_ movie we saw many, many years ago) and its a success! too easy!

Im not knocking star wars fans as i appreciate that everyone sees things differently but its just something i could never get into for some reason , i will watch it when they release it over Christmas and there will be a worldwide meltdown on availability .

I have a mate thats seen it 4 times allready , that i cant understand .

Anyway , back to Big Brother live streaming for me now ( hehe ) while i wait for my ride to pick me up for tonights night out . Ill have 1 beer for every member here tonight ok ... i promise ... well ... ill probably forget after 15 .
