a bit late entering the fray, but Kyosho have a new sc truck that was hinted at a while ago. hard to tell from the photo whats its drivetrain is, but it would be good if was based the nitro 4wd version they already have.

The rumor mill suggests there is a EP version of the 1/10 DRT 4x4 CORR Truck coming too.
So there should be plenty of competition for the many 4x4's that are starting to emerge.

The ball diff is a option part, it comes with 4 bevel gear diff in it.
Those tyres have got to be the best looking RTR SCT tyres I seen from any of the manufacturers. I'm sure they will be hard to beat for spec racing.
More information can be found "here" (http://www.kyoshoamerica.com/cars/index.php?part_num=30855)

yeah, i can see some manufacturers 'cheating' and releasing updated models factory fitted with proline etc. just to win the spec class in the states.

I had the ultima buggy,
kyosho kits are excellent ,
but they are not sold in australia and hence there is no parts support
they are easy to get via japan
but you when have to pay $20 postage for say a 5 dollar part that you have broken, or lost . it get expensive very quickly

Looks like they bought an SC10 and cloned it!

Yep!!! The threaded bodied shocks, tyres, 12mm wheel hexes, upright bumpers and mud flaps are a dead giveaway.
Now if Kyosho only bettered their SC10 and made it possible for the battery to be mounted further back in the chassis they would have the ULTIMATE SC
