Hi was wondering what you guys do when you have rounded motor screws that you need to extract? Also where can i find some replacement screws that are going to be of a higher tensile strength? The mild steel screws that Traxxas use are crap!!! I'm using a set of metric kingcrome alllen keys with ball drivers on one end and they eventually destroyed the screws. Also having trouble removing grub screw from the motor i have the correct tool but it's useless as @&^@...I've been told that you can crush the pinion in a vice and it will just snap in half?

For rounded screws i'll usually dremel a slot across the head and use a flathead screwdriver.

Depending on the pinion, if its a solid face i wouldnt think a vice would do squat, even then since the grub screw tends to be in a solid part i'd expect it to stay in one piece. Either try a better/different hex driver, or if all else fails, break out the dremel and a cutting disk.

Tried your advice and got the motor screw out no worry's!!!Thanks for your tip...Will take the motor into work tomorrow and get the pinion off one way or the other, going to try the vice and see what happens...Haha been a good excuse to buy a dremal!
