i perchased and new speed passions brushless motor the other day and i want to know if the motor will take a 3s lipo

it is a 10.5r 540

the motor came with no instrustions or specs

Its not the motor that will determine whether you can use a 3s LiPo, its your speed controller. With regards to voltage and cell count etc, the motor is pretty much irrelevant.

Second bit of help: when you write a message here, you'll often see words underlined in red. That means they are spelt incorrectly, its kind of a hint thing. You can even right click on it to get correct spelling suggestions.

yeh ok um i run a vxl esc and i know that it can run up to a 3s and like 12cells or somethink like that

just on the topic to can i buy brushless motor covers that stops sand getting to the motor

Not that i know of. They'd also stop airflow, and cause the motor to get hotter quicker.

Outerwears have sum motor covers that are cool. The cheaper speed passion setups are just hobbywing setups re branded i think u should be able to get sum instructions from some where
