found out about this on the weekend, so i went for a look see.. its rather new with plans of expanding the shop to the next unit over to allow for more track area..

yer place is aircond and it is at the kwinana hub shopping centre off gilmore ave, they also stock drinks and there plenty of place to get lunch they race thursday nights and early saturday mornings (have to check wat time as im unsure) not a bad track poeple are friendly.

At the kwinnana hub shopping centre .. main road side.. And it does have aircon i believe it was rather plesent inside while i was there from 40 odd minutes, drifting around, another guy rocked up prior to me videoing a run of the track..

That track looks great!!!! whats the surface like is it strictly drift only or could we run a 1/12 or something on it??? i am so hangin to drive my 1/12 again!!!

concrete surface pritty sure they only race and drift 1/10th but after race or during days no problen running 1/12th

They did use it as a 1/10 race track in the begining , but most of the guys moved to drift apparently ... The surface is painted and has allot of grip so 1/12th would hock up well.

The main man down there seems keen on use for the track if someone organizes and runs it he'd open up on a weekend night if required.

Too small for 1/10 scale. And if its drifting you are interested in we can do something at kwinana rc.

With a field of 5 or 6 TC's in there I'd imagine it'd be hard to get a clean lap in!

1/12 or 1/18th Onroad would work, even some Mini T style racing / Micro T's etc

Some of the hobby shop's in VIC i went to had tracks indoors and they were racing stock Associated 1/18th.. similar sized track to this one in kwinnana

Just passed by the shop today as well, looks like someone did a good job of the front glass outside door. Went inside the mall and it looks like they are expanding/remodelling the shop.

if you would like to use new track i am sure a time to suit could be arranged as we would like your opinion on the new layout .

had afew requests to open track on 1st march pub. holl. we will be open from 10 am all day it will be afree day everyone is welcome .we have f1 drift road cars and minis any electric 1/10 or under is ok on indoor track .we also haveoutdoor area as big as 5 tennis courts for bigger cars and nitros hope to see you there.

Any chance of bringing some stock to the track? So i can purchase on the 1st? Im interested in an aluminium servo mount, some diff balls, a few spurs and pinions. All for my f104 ofcourse :)

The shop and the track are one and the same, side by side..

Yeah but last time i enquired, you can not access the store unless the shopping centre is open (there is no door from the track to inside the store) you have to go from the track into the shopping centre, and then into the store. If the shops are closed, the alrams will be activated, and hence it wouldnt be wise for us to go into the shopping centre and set off the alarms :D

thats good we have plenty room now that we have moved the shop have about 10 power points work benches tables and chaires it will be great to see facilities being used

i'll bring my f104 down, but i cant make it till about 13:00. I'll pop by with my car anyway in case i can slip in some laps. I also just killed my brushed motor, so i have a black sports tuned 540 to put into it.

I have the brushless system in it at the moment, but it is waaaaaay too fast..... seriosuly it's crazy fast...

anyway will see you folsk down there... i gotta come down anyway to buy a few things so yeah

I'll bring the judging and scoring stuff with me.. just run some grudge match style battles as they dont take up much time and keeps it fun and fast flowing

the local guys want to open on easter sunday for abit off fun they have improved alot since you were here your club is most welcome we will be able to give you afrendly challenge the winner to take home die cast drift car and an easter egg
