I cant find any info on this club. The links seem spurious. Is it still happening? What sort of track is it? On/off 1/10/, 1/8? EP GP? I'm keen if it's off road as it's the closest track to me

Due to the lack of support and constant stream on negative criticism , the club is now in recession .

that's no fun. Was it a purpose built circuit? If so is it still there? *Edit* Sorry, nevermind the info is all here...

I will be holding a meeting soon to discuss the future of the club. would like to look at getting a new venue so maintenance on our cars is not a issue for poor attendance. If you are interested in attending this meeting please register your interest. We need at least 8 people to attend to make it viable. If no one is interested i will hand back the keys to the council and the club will be no more. unless some one else wishes to take the Raine's.

It would be a shame to see it fold after so much time and effort was put in to get it off the ground. It is a credit to the guys that put the work in that they were able to get it going at all. Every one would love to turn up to an established club that already has great facilities but all clubs have to start somewhere. The fact is once a venue is lost it is a massive task to replace it . I would say hold off on any decission to close at least for a while. It is looking like the Bayswater track may be up and running in the very near future and we at West Coast were hoping this would help to spark a resurgence of onroad racing in this state and it would be great if people racing at Bayswater had the opportunity to compete at other venues against other clubs. We were particularly excited about the fact that if the kwinana on road got off the ground there was also the possibility of another offroad track firing up in Perth catering to the southern suburbs.

Thanks guys. I see it's off road folks only. More interested in drift and on road. If I had the funds I would buy a buggy too... Not ATM though.
Not a club but a shop/track at Mark1.
