How fkn funny is this: (from team losi web page)

"At this past weekends RCX Show in Anaheim California, Adam Drakes personal XXX-NT AD2 was stolen from the R/C Car Action Booth. The pictures below are of the truck prior to being stolen. Adam and Team Losi would like to get the truck back and there is a reward with no questions asked for the return of the truck."

man thats pretty funny. I mean, it sucks that it was taken, it was probably loaded with goodies.

it goes to show that your gear isnt safe, just sitting in the pits. we like to think that fellow racers appreciate the time and effort that goes into this hobby and are honest.... but is that the case?

I'm always worried when I'm out racing and my stuff is unattended in the pits. I'm not really worried about the other racers but more so the public who can just walk around the pit area. Luckily nothing has been taken yet but there will come a time I think.

I have that much stuff loaded in my pit box normally i wouldn't know if someone took something quite often!!!!
In fact I remember a few years ago at bayswater for about 3 weeks there where some kids hanging around and stuff was going missing out of pit boxes. They never came back and noone else complained about stuff missing!!!!

Yeah, I was pretty suprised when I started going to race meets in Kambah (ACT). The guys were quite happy for me to pull up at their tables and start using tools/chargers etc.

Thousands of dollars of parts, it's pretty scary really
