1min38sec's of the my HotBodies TC-D modified to be counter steer ... Over driving the rear wheels by 87% FDR on the front is 3.0 yet the rear runs at 1.6 makes for realistic rc drifting...

I do like the body! If you had it in a four door, and Watanabee's on it, it would look like my daily driver!

I do like the overdrive rear idea, makes it much more relaistic to watch!

Dont all drifters counter steer anyway?

irl yes, in rc you need to gear up the rear to make it spin more than the front wheels to get the same look othewise its just a balancing act between steering into a turn and counter steering and just pointing forwards.

I was drooling over your car in the carpark a few weeks back... I'm a CSSR in parts section.

aahhh, yeah, the car has taken a few months to get going as i had to adapt a SR20 powerFC dejtro to the FJ20, as the stock FJ20 ecu couldnt cope with the HKS turbo setup and 800cc injectors. Never changed a dizzy to a CAS, so that was fun.
I work in the wheelmotor overhaul section in REMAN.
Back to CS, is it easier to drift with? And how do you set up the ratio? is it all done by gearing?

Its harder to drift a CS setup... Some guys that have been rc drifting for 2+ years cant do it, you'll either pick it up or fail to do so.
To CS a drifter you have to alter the front and rear drive ratio's on my Hot Bodies TC-D im running the standard front diff pulley 39t with a 14t pulley driving it , for the rear end ive got a 32t pulley with a 20t pulley driving it.. my front and rear wheels drive at different speeds , the rear turns 1.87 to a single 1.00 turn at the front.
Ahh so it has to be done with the pulleys? So its impossible to do it with a e10 which uses a drive shaft and gears?
