As topic says, this is not exactly including racing just hacking...
oohhh good question and i reckon you'll get a good mix of answers.
i bought my car to race so therefor i only take it out on the track on race day. if i make adjustments/repairs during the week i will take the car for 2 laps up and down the road out front here and thats it. see, if i break it during the week, i wont have it fixed in time for racing on the weekend.
yeah, i do want to be able to play during the week and with some more beans i would certainly like to buy a car for everyday use, probably one of these big beasty 4x4 cars you boys have - they look AWESOME!!!!1

Besides the track I mostly run the car out on the front road. It is a cul-de-sac with sloped kurbs so you can do jumps off them. I have some gravel and heavy stones sections which are fun for the trucks.
I set up a circuit in the backyard which is pretty good. Very tight turns but there are a couple of places to go full throttle for a second and I can change it to incorporate a jump for the trucks.
There is also an old dirt BMX track up the road which is awesome for the Mad Bison. The jumps are still there and there is a long sweeping autobarn style section to do slides.

Mostly I bash in the park across from where I live. On some occasions I have bashed on a BMX track or on and around a dried up dam

haha, not that old. having said that they've done a lot more development down there, who knows maybe it's even better now. i know there's a massive limestone wall they are building, maybe you could launch off that haha
adding to this post:
i scored some on road slicks with my second-spares-buggy i purchased last week so i can now test my car accross the road in the car park. this was always a problem because off road tyres dont last well on tar/concrete.
but even still, its only a few zips up and down to test tuning changes made during the week at home.
i'd really, really love a hack car. a tamiya 4wd off road is on my mind. i think im missing out on a lot of fun during the week.
