Hey I got a question .........why is there only a race meet at carine once every blue moon and not a fortnightly meeting or weekly like at bayswater??????

how many members do you need to make it happen???

It's not just members that are needed, its ACTIVE members. To have an event we need to:
1. Organise collection of timing gear from West Coast
2. Pack up/unload and setup all gear required to run a meet - laptop/printers/audio/timing/food + drinks etc
3. Run event
4. Packup all gear and organise return of timing gear.

The main limiting factor at the moment is personnel to run the timing gear. Currently I'm the only member able to do this. As soon as someone is able to do this competently and can provide their own laptop (using my personal one atm - the printer I'll allow Carine to use) then we have the potential to run other events.

I'm keen to become involved in the Carine club and have the time and ability to help out with organisation. I'm unsure of how to 'join' up however an figured i would just come down to the next meet with my cars and ask around?

Entry on club days via end of Aldis Rd. Is actually in Greenwood, not Carine - as was originally grass club at Carine Open Space. Noticed it's called Geenwood Reserve on Google Maps whereas street directories refer to it as Pennistone Park.

Globe has been sussing timing system out bit of tuition from paul and he probably able to do timing in the near future and he has laptop of his own and he is a very active member so will happen but have to be patient as track was only just rebuilt which took alot of sacrifice from several members.

Some issues/requirements to be aware of if members want to use the track at ANY stage:

1. Any use of the track must be a scheduled event posted on Team Adrenaline even if it is a bash day or busy bee. If it's not there is NO INSURANCE and heaven help you if there is an incident/injury. A comittee member MUST be present on any event day.

2. Use of the track on bash days is free for members only. If you're not a member you can join to run. Annual fee is $45.00 for a calander year. See a comittee member on the day for this. Otherwise you can pay a $10 day fee.
