Hi guys, I wasnt exactly sure where to post, and also am not aware if im not allowed to make new threads on the forum yet. So i figure I'll just do it then suffer the consequences (if any) later on.
I just joined the forum because I have started looking into the RC car racing from my dad bashing stuff into me so I figure I may as well have a crack and see what goes on. As of yet I havent participated in any races or been down to the track while it has been used.
Some of you may or may not know my family that race down there. Jordan Cartledge is my brother and my dad takes hime down, Also there is Mike and Taije Cartledge that also race there. Just wanted to say that I'm pretty enthusiastic about becoming a member (if there is any space left lol). I dont know a lot about the competitions and such but will be coming down on friday night to take a look and meet some folks that participate.
I was just wondering and what point do you ask a Spectator to become a member (If at all) and is a spectator still expected to pay the "gate fee". of course if these apply I would still be happy to pay and such but hey, if I can get some feedback, it would be awesome.
I have had a look at a Traxxas Slash (Chet Huffman, don't know who this is. maybe you guys might know more) which is just standard but I will need a little help on how things work, and maybe some info on the hobby. but nothing too technical lol.
I hope to race there soon and will talk to you all more later :)
