Has anybody heard of RCHobbies.com.au? ebay just takes too long and there is not much in LHS so looking for HS somewhere over east....

are they good to deal with? just stumbled on the website and they have quite a few thing that i am really keen on getting but i'd rather ask to know if there have been any problems.....

I've used them before they are fine. Expect a week (ish) delivery.

I haven't ordered from them before, but i've called them up a few times (guys on the phone didn't seem too friendly or eager to help in my opinion). Be warned that a lot of the things that are listed on their website... actually isn't in stock. So if you are going to order something online, you may want to call them up and make sure they have it in stock first. Called up three times regarding 3 different parts only to find they didn't have either in stock. One part was a rare part for an F201... the other two parts were standard Hobao parts which they didn't have. I've since given up on RCHobbies and just go to my local shop which serves me well.

RChobbies is usually the first online store i go to for parts - if there's anyone better, please let me know!

I've used them a few times without dramas. about a week to deliver although my last order was placed on a friday morning and arrived tuesday. pretty happy with that.

I can't really comment on the out of stock situation that Lord A encountered as the stuff I had ordered was all in stock. I've bought some losi parts and traxxas parts without issues.

hmmmm.....

They have quite a few rtr's that i want to buy (looks cheap) but just wanted to know if there has been any issues. (if any)

LordAnubiss.... like you said, I would rather buy from LHS who serves me well as i would get it straight away but unfortunately none of them have what i currently want.

Ordering stuff through LHS is probably like ordering through online as it may also take them that long to get it..... plus then i have to drive back to get it.... (if item are out of stock).

n_diesel.... Thanks for the info. I may order a truck and see how it goes... if it goes well, I'll get the others.

Have ordered from rc hobbies and was waiting for delivery for quite a while rang them told them on a monday roughly week and half after order that i needed the stuff b4 weekend, well it showed up following monday missing half the parts i needed. Not happy jan. But there prices on most parts aren't much different to US retail not two or three times the price like other shops in oz. If they explained the policy on out of stock stuff or called would be much less of a guess. I mainly use Tower Hobbies,LA parts house,A main,Liquid rc,RC mart.

tried rchobbies once, won't go back. Half of what they list isn't in stock, and their turn around time can be slow.

Losi parts house is really good. (They also do Traxxas and Associated)

Cool. yeah, I'm after 4ish RTR's at the moment. Thanks for the list. I'm curious about spxracing.com (first time I've heard of them) anyone had problems with them before? (if any) I see that they stock HPI and no Traxxas.... I guess i could order 1 from them if they are any good. Has Anyone had an unusual experience with spxracing?
