Carine Model Car Club will be holding a club day on Sunday 9th May. Pretty much any 1/10th or 1/8th electric RC is welcome with individual classes to be run or combined depending on numbers. Gates open 8.30 and we ask everyone to nominate by 9am and then do their practice before a race start probably around 10. It is the first race day run at Carine for a while without Paul so it may take a bit longer for us to setup and start the meet. There will be a bbq for lunch with cold drinks also available.
For anyone that hasn't raced at Carine before, access to the track is from the end of Aldis Street in Greenwood.

Sounds like fun, i need to get some practice in before the Interclub if i want to have any chance of beating you in 2WD stock Dave! Thats cool that your going to be running the timing/computer, good luck :D Considering i have nominated a couple of times to race at Carine but not actually had a go on the new layout im determined to come down for some fun,
Good on you Dave and all that helped with the busy bee, looking forward to trying the track out.

Thanks Matt. There were quite a few people at the busy bee which got the work out of the way quickly and the track is looking good.
Im actually a bit worried by the 'good luck' bit:D. Isnt that one of your (usually effective) tacticts to put me off during a race?? Seriously, it will be a first attempt so fingers crossed for no major hassles. And could then mean more racing at Carine;)

Numbers? who knows. It is mothers day..
Please feel free to bring your mums along if you have to!
Since its just a club day there are no nominations beforehand.
I can think of about 8 people that are 100% and would say there are about that many again who have said they'd be interested or might come.
Should we plan for about 15?

Will you be racing 2wd stock or mod at the interclub Matt?

Are you guys are running 2wd stock on Sunday? Because i will as well, otherwise i'll run modified.
Adrian, on numbers I know there is me, you, neil, adam, volker, pete, mattH and i think dean, mattC, mark, jason and a couple of corr guys from stanbridges are also keen. Im not sure if Terry or Patrick are coming. Sausages are relatively cheap so probably better getting a few extras

Thanks to everyone who attended yesterday's club day at Carine. Ive created the result files for the races. The 1st 4wd mod qualifier results are lost and a few of the others were affected by the timing loop issues. We'll get those sorted out for the next race day. I have to figure out how and where to upload the results for everyone to be able to see them so once ive sorted that out i'll post again. What a pity Kai is off in europe..
