West Coast Model Rally Club is pleased to announce that we have secured the lease to the On-Road Race Track and the Off Road Race Track located at Moojebing Reserve, Bayswater.
We have access to the facilities to conduct lawn mowing & maintance of the premises and will be able to utilise the On-Road track as soon as the lease is signed which could be as early as next week.
This has been a long process in regards to securing the Lease and the Executive & Committee Members of West Coast Model Rally Club thank you for your patience. I would also like to thank the Committee for all the hard work that has gone into securing the Lease.
Expressions of interest for those whom can make it down to the track this Sunday for the lawn mowing & maintance.
Bring your own lawn mower & whipper snipper etc.
For a 9.00 am start
Regards
Michael Wallace

If moneys no object the Corally NGX F1 is the go.. thats what i run ... its a 1/10 pan car with a F1 body pretty much, any of the world GT and 200mm pan car tires go straight onto them.
Never broken a thing on it either , super strong and drive like its on rails, once you put some jaco foams on that is.

The grass still needs to be mowed so you can see the track and the lease must be signed off first ( offical gov stuff )

Hello onroad racers in Perth, Bunbury etc.
Just a reminder that there will be onroad racing at West Coast at their Bayswater onroad track this coming Sunday 29/8/2010.
We are going to start racing an hour earlier, 12:00 noon rather 1:00 pm.
Gate opens at 10:00 am
Nomination closes 11:30 am
Drivers meeting at 11:50 am
Estimated finishing time 4:00 pm
If you are definitely racing but can't get there before 11:30 am on race day, PM me at the latest by 12:00 noon the day before, Sat 28/8/2010. In the interest of race day community not being held up, late nomination is regretably not accepted.
Race fees for members $5, non members $10. Discounted membership for the remainder of 2010 available.
Classes offered are Vintage Trans-Am, Stock (17.5BL or 27TB), Super Stock (10.5BL or 19TB), Mod, F1 and Novice (21.5BL or higher or 540) if sufficient number of nominiation received (6 or more).
Race format generally following AARCMCC rules. 2 Qualifying and 3 Finals.
Be there to hear about an exciting onroad event coming soon.http://www.rctech.net/forum/classic_images/smilies/nod.gif

Now we will start to see whether drivers are loyal off-road drivers and prefer to support all the off-road events across WA or if they just prefer race in their own backyard.
I'm having a sissy fit........fish
We see you Sunday, Mr Golumn.

Any F1's planning to show up this weekend? Or am i going to be the only one? RRC is on this sunday so some of the regulars won't be there, at this stage i'm the only confirmed F1 to show up!!!

Massa is still alive hey !?!?! Been too scared to come to PRECC has he!?!? :D Senna has officialy retired (although he will appear on trophy days). Your new opponent is an anonymous white racing suit wearing presumed racing driver, except this one is an upgrade kenyan version who doesnt reveal his stupid identity just so he can write a crappy book. Massa has no chance !!!!!! :p
It'll be great to race with you again steve. Remember i got all the parts under the sun for the 104 (except for tyres.. i only have one set of rubbers... got spare foams though) so even if your car isn't running, bring it down and pillage whatever you need from me to get your car on the track. :fonzie:
Jamie said he'd come down too so there should be three of us :)

The 2011 Stanbridges Hobbies AARCMCC WA On-Road Electric State Titles are being held at West Coast Model Rally Club in Bayswater (Moojebing Rd) and are only 1 week away. This will be an exciting weekend of racing in the lead up to the Nationals. If you are unable to race, come down and check out the finals. They start at midday on sunday 27th March with presentations following straight after.
So get on down, check it out, ask as many questions as you like. And we hope to see you racing on the track soon.
