removing anodizing

I'm sure its been mentioned before, but what do ppl use to remove anodizing from things like the axial links?

i was going to pop over to bunning and see if they do caustic soda in a liquid form, anyone got suggestions or used something they can recommend.

Caustic soda draino.. Otherwise nothing will happen. I use the crystal type
