anyone keen for a LAN party night?

during the winter months, outdoor racing is pretty much non-exsistant and we find ourselves indoors trying to kill some time.

on a dark and cold friday or saturday night, who would be interested in a LAN party? this would be where you bring your PC, beer, nibles and connect to a switch... and do whatever.

can i have a show of interest?

easy as piss to set up and would be good depending on how many pple are using the vpn and what connection its being hosted on.

depending on the night i will come to it. if its a bad night then vpn will be good also

This weekend is possible. I need to check with Kym first, she might have made plans.

I have 8/1Mbit so can support up to 5 VPN tunnels.

There is room in the hobby room for 4 users and I can fit another 2 into the computer room (But people will have to supply their own tables for the computer room) I can fit another person on the kitchen table.

After that I think I'll be at my power limit.

Need to bring your own powerboards and Cat 5 cables. Cables should be 10m+ as the hobby room is not wired *yet*.

Last - we need a selection of games. You lot will have to think about food too, I'm not feeding everyone
