My LST

First post here and thought I'd open the account with some shots of my LST :) No body on it cause it's mostly tape at the moment :P

Hopups:

- Losi HP brake pads
- Losi aluminium diff cases
- Losi thin swaybars
- Losi HD front/middle/rear skidplates
- Losi TiNi coated steel spurs and pinions
- RPM adjustable a-arms
- Losi stiff (7lb) springs
- RDLogics tuned exhaust
- XTM large series Pentos rims
- XTM large series BRT1 tyres
- New Era rollbar
- Losi threaded shock bodies
- 30k front/50k rear diff fluid for lsd-ish feel
- 35wt shock oil

To do:

- Collari .30 engine
- carbon fibre chassis plates
- paint up my proline f150 body
- get and paint up a proline crowdpleazer body

hehe the LST is my #1 stink truck choice too after watching Aj's car run amok in the street..

the durability is the only real problem... Aj's spends more time waiting for parts than it does bashing :P

Like I was saying to someone last night - the LST is good after you replace a bunch of known weak bits with some hopup parts. Losi have to do what every other manufacturer in the world does and build down to a price bracket. If it came with aluminium diffs, aluminium arms, titanium turnbuckles and so on it'd cost almost twice the price. The price for a high-end nitro MT is set at about $US500ish and they have to build to that price or they'll only ever sell to a few hardcore racers/bashers and never get the impulse/first-time buys that I'd imagine make up a ton of the RC sales.

Also doesn't help that the only things people over here buy are bloody buggies, hpi savages or 1/18th scale stuff !lol None of the local places stock much in the way of spares or hopups from the LST but I could buy almost every bloody mini-t part under the sun off the shelf :P

And hey, at least I'm not spending mad cash on it to race it around the driveway like your precious mini-t :P The LST sees mucho dirt and jumps when it is going - shelf queen it up bitchboy :P Make sure you bring the FG down next time you come to town - I wanna see that sucker go!

i have 3 mini-t's now (one for racing, one for bashing and one for practising) and the rc18t should be here very soon :D

the MT will be with me the next time i come to perth and so will the traveller (converted to bitumen drift king :O )

ill also bring another rc10gt and a hpi sr4 MT to give you a race with the other rc10gt of mine sitting at your place :P

next trip up im going to make it a 4 day break so i can hang about a bit longer and then hit the hobby shops for some needed bits :P
