Scalers,

What motor/esc and battery combos are you using in your SCX10's?

Got one in the mix and am thinking about motivation....

I use a 35t brushed phantom with a 20t pinion,novak rooster esc and a 4000mah lipo.It's got good wheel speed and i get a couple of hours out of the battery.Good to see more scalers coming.

i have the sidewinder, not sure on the motor, but its brushed and slow.

My Hilux is running a Tekin RS pro with a X11 LRP 13.5BL on the RTR's pinion (unknown 13t or 14t i think), running it on a 2S 3800mah trakpower.

I've just got the stock Axial 27t brushed, Traxxas XL-5 waterproof ESC and 3600mAh NiMh.
I get a little over an hour per pack. Its not stupid quick, but its cheap and quick enough for trail runs.

Stock Axial motor on 1800mah 3S goes very well, just ask Pete. Mark this combo is stupid quick and does great wheelies. :)

I'm running a HPI 45T and 18T pinion with Sidewinder and 2500mah 3S lipo. I get 3.5 hours plus of run time. I recently tried it with a 1300mah 3S and it was still going after 60 minutes.

Will be trying a MMP with 21.5T and 4S lipo in the Losi and Scaler sometime in the future after I finish one of my 6 other half finished projects.
