View Full Version : MINI T HELP NEEDED

Hey All - No havent got one of my own yet - but i need help for an uneducated mate of mine who butchered his T. From what Ive been told his nephews held the T in one spot trying to get smoke out of the tyres and in doing so killed the standard motor. (sorry if this is a bit long)Anyway he appears to have butchered the plate between the motor and diff and lost other bits in and attempt to fit some dodgy old motor he found somewhere.. this is what it looks like !ill

You can also see he has the motor held in with a plastic strap that looks like it came from a coke bottle !! Anyway aside from the dodgyness of it all - I need in help in identifying the bits i need to order to get it back to normal pleasseeee ?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ??????????

Is that motor mount custom made?

What do you need help with? I don't think I read a question in your post :P

Sh1t I dont have my manual handy, but someone will sort it out part numbers for you Im sure.

You need the rear bumper and motor mount only I guess.

hm not sure justo he was saying he removed "excess" gears from the diff - i think he has messed around with the slipper ?!?!?

well, without a photo of the inside ofthe gearbox it's almost impossible to tell. But I've never heard of any reason to remove excess gears before.

Again, no part numbers, but the gearbox contains the diff, idler gear(that the spur fits on) and a middle gear (dunno name). There's nothing to it. I cant see him stripping the idler, so if anythings wrong with the gearbox, it'd be the diff or the middle gear.

That is not the orig spur, pinion or motor mounting. Just replace the lot

You'll need -
Diff and Idler combo - $7
Top shaft - $8
Spur set - $5
Losi Speed motor - $25
Pinion set $8
