AMB Transponders

Can someone help with a little problem im having removing the 2 half's of a transponder that has been glued together with silicon.

Q:What eats Silicon. :?

Petrol turns silicon into sludge, breaks it down but may eat the plastic.

Daz, Ring BP Petrolium's Kewdale office and check with them. Had to do that years ago when looking for a residue free solvent for camera repairs.
