View Full Version : ryper interclub sunday june 19th?? (WA)
this has got to be the most least talked about interclub so far this year.
is this event on? i received a mail this week stating that only 2 people had registered for the event by the due deadline of monday 13th june. the weather forecast is not good leading up to sunday.
does anyone have an update on this event?

Who's entered? I've entered Mini-T and 1/10th buggy stock.. except, my buggy still hasnt arrived, I dont have a stock motor, and i need to buy parts for it. reckon I'll make it? hah unlikely. if racing IS on, I'll probably just race Mini-T and be pit-bitch for matt with his 1/10..
weather isnt looking good for it however...
Ryper should invest in an extremely massive pergola thing for their rear yard.. haha.. cover up EVERYTHING
I've entered the truck class. I just wish I've got my mini t sorted so I can race that but I've been roool lazy. Just checked the weather forecast and it seems to be clearing Satday and fine sunday. Lookin good !clap

I did hear mention somewhere that they'd be laying down some sort of carpet. be nice if anyone from Rypers would stop by to let us know...

I guess I could nip down there tommorow and find out. I live about 2km away from Ryper :)
It will probably be one or two bad corners (muddy) and if the rest of the track is suitable for racing, they'll probably carpet the bad spots. wouldnt surpise me. I know Ryper are keen to get their OFF ROAD track more popular
It's friday, my XXX-BK2 and batt cell's haven't arrived yet. unless it's in my PO Box today, I'll only be racing mini-T. (which I've changed totally changed recently and no idea if it even goes straight, doh)
I'm gonna put a 55-turn integy lathe motor in the TLT-1 climber, with a 9t pinion, and race that in 1/18th. It'll go about 5cm a second. :)
do a 'BB' and drive over all the 1/18ths :P

Thanks Golumn!
how, and why, are people talking about racing monster trucks in the 1/18th class???
I'm with you on that one matto. It went over my head, and I thought I'm missing something here.

I think it's just BB having delusions of grandeur wanting to run his maxx in the 1/18th class. besides, he'd get beaten, too slow :D

mini-t class will have 2 qualifiers and a final. dave pushed it through with the ppl running the show. so no more worries about waiting around all day. first race at 9:30 but was told to try and be there around 7:30. esp if u havent nominated.
track is ok....its only ever the one problem corner. but all the silty clay sludge has been pushed out and some carpet down so its driveable. have to wait and see how weather holds up overnight and in the morning. heres the latest forecast and it aint looking good:
