ok,

after seeing the b3 buggy fly across my backyard only using the venom 19t motor and a 3600 pack making me smile immenseley :) i want to find a fittng stupid stunt to do with it worthy of recording for everyone elses enjoyment.

so far i have come up with "Barrel of doom" which requires me to try and keep it running at full speed inside a concrete pipe (loop the loop style) which is ok but not incredibly dangerous

another is a distance jump (seen so many its not that impressive anymore)

another would be a height jump, but its only a 19t so the speed wont be that great)

and finally the "ring of fire" where i could attempt to jump it through a burning hoop of fire... this would be the last one id try as the result could be somewhat terminal for the buggy.

any other good ideas? the wife suggested "crash test it" but thats a crap idea.

drag race some unsuspecting vehicles out on the street.

attach a basket to it, with a sign thats says "insert coin", then drive it down the road, see if it comes back with any money in it. (if you get it back at all)

i was racing random cars in the street at my dads house last weekend with the mini-t :D i overtook 3 of them and watched them shit themselves when they realised what had happened (its a loop road around a park, so pple only do 30-40km/hr)

the coin idea is good.

setting fire to it is a 1 time trick tho :) i would consider it at the end of its life and even then not using good electrics or batteries. maybe no rx/esc and just hook the battery tot he motor and let it run...

i was considering a parachute jump off a building with it but then the whole danger of it smacking someone is a prob i guess... for them :P

Get a Tamiya TG10 with the original FS12LT motor in it (possibly the worst nitro engine known to man kind), and thrash that engine til it cries no more.

Run 40% nitro, and run it lean....nail the throttle and keep going for maximum RPM until something pops...normally the conrod will. Sometimes it'll make an awesome CHINK noise when it goes, sometimes it wont, but its fun to make bets with your friends on to how long it will last and what way it will die :P

Same thing happened to my expensive O.S. CVR-15 with O.S. Speed Hyper Cooling Head, but it was accidental rather than on purpose...I almost cried, until I sold off all the bits (slide carb, original cooling head, Hyper head, back plate, pull start) on eBay and recovered my original purchase cost :D

hold the phone here. i bought a venom 17turn and ran it with a 3300 pack and was appauled at its piss poor performance. the stock 27t motor i was running before the 17t bloody ATE the 17t!!

i put a $22 motor in a $50 buggy.

for it to move was happiness enough. for it to get to the speeds it did made me smile :)

the b3 is so damn light and im using a 14t pinion, it gets to its top speed very damn quick and is amazingly hard to steer under throttle on conncrete (the buggy wheels do nothing but slide and there is no wieght in the front)

am i impressed for my expenditure of $71.30 (total) INDEED

would i be as impressed having this motor in something other than an expendable buggy NO!

i chucked my 11.1V lipo in it 20 mins ago... the smile just got bigger :)

Actually now you're making me think I need a better motor...

Bah, I'll wait until I burn up this venom first I think. Reminds me of when I ran 12cells with my expensive LRP 10T. Pro3 was FLYING. Motor was DOA when I got it back inside.

You should setup a jump going across the street. Practice to make sure you can make it. Then fire it over cars coming by :P
