Finally!
It came with LOADS of spare wheels/tyres, spare springs, gears, turnbuckles, arms, etc... heh heh. body paint job is a bit dodgey, but looks okay.
needs one small part replacing, a 4-40 1" button head hex screw. :)

I got it off a guy on the rctech forums. $250
I also got my 15A powertech power supply $120
3x Harris r/c matched GP3300 cells (2 unused 1 used once) $220
and a Novak GTX ESC $140
all prices are inc shipping from east.

Considering they are, what, $570 or something (rob?) and all the spare wheel/tyres/parts I got. I think it's a damn STEAL. I guess I know a deal when I see one... same with the other stuff I've got coming.. slowly! urgh.
I'll get more pics up in this thread as I clean it up, and set it up to my specs.
If the interclub is indeed on, on sunday, I doubt I'll be racing this. My batteries didnt arrive, I need an axle screw, a stock motor, and I've never used a Losi Buggy... infact the last buggy I ever drove was my Hornet about 15 years ago. rofl.

I think new bk2 is between 3-400, but you still got a bargain with all the spares. Why didn't they make it colour coordinated like the first edition?

James

not enough people for racing. if none of you come, there's no racing. !satan there was about 5 off-road guys, max. a few mini-T's, etc.
They need to move their off-road racing to a different day, and arvo or night, coz no one really wants to race r/c at 9am on a sunday morning. Plus you rock up and the pits is already full of on-road people. grrr.
a weeknight would be good. (not fri obviously).. hrmmm

it's not easy to see in the pics, but the checkers are black and silver, the rest is like a magenta colour, then the flames, etc. it's not a bad job. they are in Bunbury.... i found some of their work on ebay, had to get the BK2 shell, about $69inc post. reasonable... :)

yeah thats a sick shell I love the paint work but my shells don't last too long at all a couple of good roll overs and they tear at the Body mount holes!!

less than a week until the state titles, and my BK2 currently looks like this:
and requires a tiny little steering bearing which seems impossible to get a hold of!? !rant

I fixed the steering assembly by making a metal bushing, it worked a treat. god bless my drill press :) (that rhymes) !lmao
now here's a pic of a box with a 0.08/60' digital coreless servo inside :P about to go into the BK2.. hah ha haaaa, overkill.
e107_files/public/2_xxx4g_012.jpg
can never over kill on steering. I'm using the 5945 on my xxxt!?!?!?!? I should change that I reckon

one headache after another... I've discovered my idler gear/shaft in the tranny is somewhat BENT, it's always been like this, no wonder the spur/pinion mesh has never been perfect. DOH, off to the shops for a replacement.
James
21-09-2005, 09:36 AM
still to do.., get new idlershaft, re-fit tranny, re-oil all shocks, install new motor, install new servo, re-install all electronics, glue more sets of tyres.
urgh.. I'm going to be cutting it close
