What a location and what a course!! Is that me or the gate are actually wider than what we have here? because of the course difficulty?

All the rig in the comp SCX10, anyone running anthing different?

The black/sliver/orange honcho with home made flat bed (about 7:24), what was done on the steering? It got insane steering angle (7:31).

Good vid thanks. Ok now, where is my dingo??

Most of the gates look pretty spot on. There was one or two near the beginning that looked wider than normal.

The steering is pretty normal if you run CVD's and shaved knuckles and screws. If you run Ally C Hubs you can get away with running only one screw in the rear of the hub to gain even more steering.

It looks like he was the only one running bent links. Not illegal in scale but I think it should be.

I made that bridge.:D

The orange and black honcho had the second best steering on the day. The best belonged to the white defender. The rock at that location was craxy. Lots of honey comb formations awesome ledges and crazy grip. This is the gate that stopped me getting a a podium finish. Notice the double over hang in front of the gate.

Al C hubs also allow clocking of the front wheels to further improve steering.

I have shaved the front tab, countersunk my front screw holes and fitted countersunk screws, it gave me an extra few degrees.
Next step will be High Clearance links or BTA per the new rules for 2012.

So confirm for 2012, scale class 2, BTA steering is legal? But not for sportman? right?

No idea Dave. SPM rules for 2012 have not been announced.

Basically if it does not say that you "can not" do it. Then assume that you can.

Nice little vid, Cam. Did you get anything of the other classes?
