hey im looking at buying a new drift car chassis, right now im running a crappy hsp brushless with a castle creations sct and 2.4ghz and 3s lipo, i am wanting to get a new chassis i can transfer everything over to and also be pretty cheap, i have seen that the countersteer ones drift amazing, and some also have huge turning angles, id like something like this that could handle the power and easy to maintain thanks.

http://www.r2hobbies.com/eng/products.php?cat=281
teh-r31
carbon chassis for 165 ish
tub chassis for 74.78
50 degree steering very easy to convert to countersteer and its easy as pie to drive, i think 3 out of the top 5 cars at the drift comp on the weekend were these.
its a clone of this car

and quality wise is no different. side by side you cant pick the original.

what spare support does the teh-R31 has?? I am in the same boat as "keepitsideway" but wanted a basic one that is easy to drift. So this seems perfect for me. Any local shop that has spare support of this one.
Does a drift car have to have the motor mount up front for it to be easy to drift?... Sorry for highjacking the thread...

I built a Tamiya DF03ra Subaru wrx kit a few months ago that doesn't get used if you want a practically new car for a descent price.
The body has a few 'character scuffs' but otherwise it's practically new and well built.
It has the rally block tyres on it but I have a set of tdrifts that go on it for drifting.
I'd sell it as a roller if you're interested, PM me.

no local support for any of those chassis, its a clone of a jap chassis and that has no local support either.
the only local stuff your going to find is losi, associated, tamiya and schumacher.
pop into stanbridges and speak to luke if hes in. he will fill you in on all things drift.
