Hard work driving and filming. I've given up trying to hold the camera cause the driving sucks when you try to stay in frame and the filming sucks when you try to drive correctly.

The film does not show how hard the truck is, it seems flat all the time.....lol

so true ha obz .

Then you give the camera to a mate and its ust terrible and your always out there thinking if only i could video it how i wanted it or if only you knew how to drive so i could tape it :(

Ive become good friends with the tripod but still boring .

One thing ive got going for me though is my 9 year old daughter is an ace with the SLR and i mean even down to slowing the shutter speed down for her and 1 out of 5 shots shell chase the car spot on so im hoping shell take to the video cam for me just as well hahaha

Always good to see someone just purely loving it!
There's this video on YouTube of the Kyosho Ultima DB where the dude has filmed it himself but sooo well.
He's basically framed up a sick shot where the car will be, taking into account viewpoint and cool lighting and he's mounted up on the tripod and got on with driving.
The car enters frame, steals the show and leaves the frame.
It's an amazing video. I'll try and find it and send the link.
Anyone who loves rc could totally do the same thing quite easily.
It's be a great way to film crawling because you could have the camera at a crazy low angle under a ledge or at the bottom of a drop off and capture an almost 1:1 style angle.

Post edit: this is the vid

Apologies for the bad link, I guess copy and paste the address bar on iPad doesn't work.
