Hi Folks, yep it's moving toward that time of the year, this year being held at the Carine Track.
There are what you might call warm up events happening at Carine with the 10th July pre BombShell race day, 28th July, BombShell Classic 1/10th Mod Trucks and Bullet Shell 1/18th truck, plus support 2wd/4wd Buggy classes.
Then 28th August Interclub, with all this action happening it should give everyone an opportunity to get their stup's right before the State titles get into full swing.
Thanks to the guys at TeamAdrenaline for allowing the State Titles to have this thread.
Hopefully it will be kept for state title info, news etc, the Carine club who are hosting the State Titles this year will be making every effort to keep you ALL informed as much as possible.

The qualification to compete has not changed for three years now, but for those who are new to the R/C world.
WAORMA State title qualification requirements are you need to have competed in TWO WAORMA interclubs with no exceptions for W.A. Drivers, visitors from other states have always been able to compete and are welcome to do so.

Chris primmer would be one maybe, anyway I do hope a few racers come from the east to give a new look to the WAORMA State Titles 2005, The Bombshell/Bullet Shell are gaining momentom in the interest stakes, will be bigger again this year than last year, very open field as well.

Please give an example of this, although, it is still not really going to change the current situation as the rules of the association state 2 interclubs, end.

Guys,
The rule for the States is 2 interclubs.
Exceptions are for interstate or novice.
If people have raced before and for instance raced the Hardman and States, then there is hardly an argument. They could quite easily have raced the interclubs.
One exception was made two to three years ago, and this is the reason the rules have been firmed.
If anyone believes they have a legitimate complaint, then lodge it with WAORMA. There is one meeting prior to the States and this is the only forum for discussion.
And Mitch, your previous input is much valued, and it is a pity to see you go. Perhaps you can maintain some advisory capacity until the states.
gday all. are there any updates on the progress of the state titles?

state champ drivers only
As you all know theres a few showers forcasted tomorow morning and through out the day so if the track has alot of water on it tomorow morning every one will have to wait until peter suckling or waorma reps, rock up for a track inspection , as we have put alot of work in to the track for this event ,
carine club ,
does this mean it _could_ be cancelled?

I think he may be talking about the practise scheduled tomorrow. I believe an inspection is done by WAORMA before a track is deemed "racable" or not (including sanctioned practise)
I might be right off the mark, I don't have my "decrypter" handy (just kidding MK :P )
