1985 to be exact - I was 10, and from the first time I saw Tamiya's first 4WD buggy I wanted one..............it has taken 20 years but I GOT IT!!

Picked it up today its all there, but needs a clean - after I put it through it paces over the next week or so........came complete and running with original EVERYTHING - including original motor, speed controller and period futaba radio, already have a full set of brand new original tyres coming from the states....havent been able to take a photo yet..but here is one the previous owner flicked me....... !super

All i remember bout my hotshot was mixing araldite every few weeks to repair the front shock mount and burning my fingers on those bloody rear speed controller round heatsinks ... lol .

Wicked buy man. I remember that year. We had gravel out the front of our house. The father that lived down the street had a Hot Shot. It was the first real RC I saw ever.

Matto - yeah they are BIG TIME popular with collectors - especially coz they are the first ever 4WD Tamiya buggy........I paid about $100 more than your Falcon.......here are a few pics I took today....you can even see "Crash" Cramer the driver inside !lmao

OK I was happy with the price I paid - but are people going crazy ?!?! I saw this on ebay - 6 days to go and it already at $200 - and half of its missing and its the wrong colour!!!! WTF?!?!
