View Full Version : I fit the Beast Rapture into my Mini - R

Ok , so i spent 50 minutes trying to work out how to mount this bastard into the tiny engine bay and fit it physically with no issues and just modified the front end with a dremel to align the screw holes and shes all good . ( i also added a very tiny shim to give some gear play ... long story ) .

This things off its head , i would go as far as to say ive doubled in speed .

Now the driving skills will have to kick in as we are now defying the laws of 1:18 scale micro on this car .

Ill attach a video clip of it doing a drag run down the street next week when i get my webspace back .

Wicked project. Why don't you save the Raptor for a mini-t/rc-18t and get a higher reving 300 motor (don't ask me which one). Those mini-r's would weigh bugger all and could end up going even faster.

yay for the mini-r on lipo :P

reminds me of one of my mini-r's with the mamba 8000 before it lost its wheels (should have glued them damnit)

such an awesome little car too. for the money, they are great little rwd rocketships :)
