Hey all ;)

Any rc drifters out there that can get to Archerfield, sth east QLD/brissy, make sure Sunday the 10th of July is free on your calender!!! We're trying to organise a Drift meet at HobbyStation's indoor on-road track out at Archerfield from about 12PM onwards - http://www.hobbystation.com.au

Hopefully if we get enough of us there, Leo (owner of HS) might even start holding monthly or even fortnightly RC DRIFT COMPS!!! There will probably be about 7-9 of us definately heading over there, so get ur drift machines to HobbyStation on the 10th!!!!

This will only be a meet for now, although there is an RC Drift comp scheduled to be held in late July/August some stage, and the winner of that could possibly be going to the Brissy Autosalon and drifting their RC in Leo's HobbyStation stall at the show :)

We are just trying to gain some popularity for rc drifting, or even just get a few more guys together on the weekends All u need is a 4WD elec touring car and some electrical tape or ABS/PVC pipe over ur rims, although nitros can be used too with some hard rubbers

Anyways - hopefully we'll see a couple of you guys out there!!

Happy Drifting!!! :)

btw - check this new forum out if ur keen to hook up for a drift sesh anytime and ur local to the Brissy/SE qld area :) http://www.brizdrift.com/dorifto/
Nothin big - but good help to organise our meets ;)

I agree with born2drift that we get more sideways useing abs and lids, it looks to me you guys are mostly using yokomo drift rings, is this true? Maybe you have had a lot more practice than me and that is why you can drift faster on abs.

yeah - we're only noobs -lol- I think the longest any of us have been drifting is like 3 or 4 months -lol-

We use abs tyres over the rims ;) It could be the surface making it look fast tho - brushed concrete gives the abs a lot more grip :) In the shots where it's inside, thats on hobbystation's track, and thats real slippery, so a bit slower :)

Alot of ppl have commented that we are more "race drifters" tho -lmao- But we all have fun :) Hopefully we'll get heaps of turnout, as we want some drift comps going!!!

There was a bloke drifting his revo with PVC tho once, so i guess i could drift my lst when it gets here too? -lmao- Should be easier being electric aswell -lol-

by the way - if anyone wants an R32....check out etamiya!!! USD$37!!! http://www.etamiya.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=951
