whats interesting is the headlights on the 355 are seperate. Maybe a pop-up headlight mod in the future?

both cars got the "azzachaz modified" treatment.
Built for speed, Lithium Ion battery upgrade.

The Lithiums pretty much double the cars speed, given they run at about 8-9Volts rather than the 4.8volts provided my NiMH AAA's.
They give a good weight saving also, since they weight about half as much as alkaline AAA's

The cars were upgraded with 50,000RPM X-Speed PLUS motors, and the ESC was upgraded with a 2x2 FET upgrade to support the motor.

When you get to these power levels I dont like using the standard spider gear diff, so both cars were upgraded with ball diffs.
I also fully ballraced both cars.

even though both cars use the same chassis they will develop their own handing characteristics due to their shell.
The Skyline shell is bigger but affords the car a longer wheelbase.
The Ferrari is short but also closer to the ground.

It will be up to 4ORCE to find out which is faster because I have a habit of smashing newly built cars and have limited their use to "testing purposes" only :D

It's still got the the 6 tooth on it at the moment so probably gets up to about 30-35 km/h. Faster with the other pinions (7,8,9?)in the set
Put a bigger pinion on like the 12 tooth alloy ones I had brought and 80km/h is possible. These speeds are usually done on a dyno as they would disintergrate if smashed at that speed.

are they 4wd or 2wd?

RC_King - my MT hammers. Definately gets to similar speeds as the cars. ONly problem is the front end is fragile at those speeds so you need an open area to run it. I'll have to get a vid of it.
They are all 2wd
4orce

They look awesome, looking forward to getting them here. The only thing is...Who in SE Qld is game to race me....he! he! !silly
There's a challenge for you. trying to get something going here if anyone is interested...
Bang for your buck these would have to be the best thing on the market and you don't need a real lot of room to race them either.
Drop me a PM if you're from the SE Qld Area (I'm Gold Coast) and would like to get an occassional meet going just for mini z's.
