how much for the price of fuel

for you nitro boys, what is the price of fuel for the nitro cars?
where do you buy the fuels from? do you have to mix yourself?

I buy premixed 16% nitro for ~$13 a litre. It can be had for less than $10(bulk) but a litre lasts for about 15 tanks so I dont need a new bottle for a fortnight usually.

does the fuel go "stale" if its not used in a certain period of time??

If you leave the cap on and use it reguarly then it will be fine.

I think the biggest problem is if you leave it open as fuel will absorb the moisture in the air.

That is why they say not to store your car with fuel in the tank as it can attract corrosion.

If you are using the cars more than once a month it's not really an issue in my books

I use VP Racing pre-mix fuel from Radio Model Supplies, and nothing else. Its pure, and perfectly mixed. I've used custom mixes before and they are too different between batches, too much room for error.
