yeh i want some bling bling on it! i cant decide whether to go purple or silver. i think silver suits the savage but ive always been a fan of hpi's purple...
i'd like to get those integy shocks for it, but was disappointed today when i found out my brothers revo is faster :( :( :( so maybe it needs a new engine hmmmmmmmm
and i dont like getting my truck dirty hahaha

What's wrong with the revo jumping? Not that I've found anything more than half a metre to jump, but it seems to do it fine?

revo is ok at jumping i guess if you land it on its wheels... a savage can land on its roof, bumper, side, small child and still keep going. the revo needs to land on its wheels and land well or you will find you have 2 half revos to play with :P

:P pffftt....I don't think I will ever bash a car as hard as is required to do some serious damage, but I've seen enough videos to realise my revo (or the savage) isn't gonna be breakin in a hurry.
How about you two bros bring the revo and savage up to whiteman for some racing this sunday. Then at the end of the day, we'll see which one of you have the bragging rights.

Apart from the fact I have a birthday to attend, I can barely keep my revo running for more thana few minutes at a time so I will shut up now :P
But mine was still faster.
woohoo! i win by default! oooo whats that smell? oh, its victory
but yes, urs was faster

Two greatest words in history.....
Good News!
i just ordered some bling bling!
Silver alloy lower arms, purple fuel tank guard, purple/silver alloy body posts and an ofna steering servo saver.
Unfortunately, silver upper arms were out of stock and i couldnt get alloy shock towers :(
im goin with silver just because im worried about stupid scratches. cant wait till the parts arrive :D :D :D
Actually, maybe i should go with silver lower arms and purple upper arms.....
any thoughts???

hahaha....posting a pic of a broken LST isn't the best way of advertising how tough it is....fence post or not :P
Love the shocks ;)

Ha ha it was a joke mate! It will be tuffer when I fit RPM arms then look out fence post!! It probably hit 40kmh!!
It made a nice mess they exploded in sections on the A arms you try and put the puzzle back together anbd there is about a CM out of each one missing.....It was a Big hit!
Finally have pics of my baby (who's making his way into manhood)
My favourite parts are the body posts !lmao
Everything fitted in nicely. the tank guard is really tight so the fuel tank doesnt move at all. the alloy arms are heavier than i expected, theyve got multiple shock holes and ive set it up on the lowest setting. the truck shows no sign of rolling over now!
as for the ofna steering mod, well i pretty much only used the servo saver. i didnt add bearings and couldnt find any bloody shims! so the servo saver moves up and down, but i dunno if it effects the performance. to be honest the steering feels the same :? ?! :?

Use a glow plug washer. But I would use the bearings, others wise you'll be eating away at those bushings in no time.
Thanks for the tip Dlux! ...but i only had one spare glowplug lol
ordered some bearings today off ebay. was surprised that noone in perth had cheap ones. i think perth r/c had 2 for about $20!
i hope theyre are decent enough.
UPDATE: New pics of the savage coming soon to an lcd screen near you. Just got my new BEADLOCK X-75'S AND LOSI ZOMBIE MAXX'S :D : D: :D
Haven't had a chance to test out the new chassis either. Can't wait for the weekend. It's now longer and wider....HOORAY

those are some quality pics from a phone!
and thats one damn sexy looking beast!
Thanks man. It handles REALLY sweet now. Doesn't wanna roll over anymore. I taped up the insides of the tyres and they weren't ballooning, so I'm very happy :D
It even seems to have a bit more speed with a better take off, but no more wheelies.
Unfortunately, I did manage to strip my spur gear :( I had an inkling that the mesh wasn't right, so I paid the price.
