Im nearing the final stages of my V-One-S nitro to electric conversion.

only issue now is gears.

As this will be using an electric motor, i was wanting to know what pitch the main gear would be and how i would find out?

i have looked through the manual etc and only seen a reference to teeth numbers (46)

as there also seem to be 2 different pitches (64 and 48) which one would it more likely be? are there more than the 2 pitches to choose from?

cheers for the help.

On the Kyosho '46' probably refers to the amount of teeth.
Not knowing much about your conversion (if you have written more i'll look it up later) i assume your using the existing gearbox. Because of the power and torque of a nitro car the pitch of the gears are very large. Most cars are different.
However, on electric cars the gear pitch size is generally 32 (Tamiya) or 48 or 64
Here is what i see as your problem. You wont find a pinion gear (the one on the potor) the right pitch. What you will have to do is adapt a (my recomendation) 48 pitch spur gear.
Which bring you to the second problem.
Ratio
Using the same ratio of the nitro power wont work with electric motors due to revs torque etc. That will take a lot of experimenting

Hope that helped
Good luck, cant wait to see the end result
