How are you guys , finally almost completed .

I ended up going full on with this car and threw a servo and esc into it . I was playing with 1 of those cheap tin cars and throwing all the stuff in from there but hey , i figured ive got room so lets try doing it properly with quality parts as youd want to really have full control over something so detailed .

Heaps of mods and about 30 hours work in total ( well minus a few hours in stuffing around ) .

Ive managed to throw the 29mhz receiver into the bonnet along with the servo and i had absolutely no other place to put the ESC but in the back seat so im gonna have to make that look presentable tomorrow .

Its all fully proportional speed and steering and let me tell you , it gets up to serious speed and you can throw it sideways on full charge ( up around the 20kph mark from what we radard tonight )

Ive made a 6V 2000Mah battery pack that goes into the boot and i will put a charging Jack underneath on the chassis so the customer wont need to remove and replace batteries .

This is something i reckon will go crazy on ebay and when people see its a Di-Cast original officially licensed Road signature series model converted to RC , it will go for high $200ds . Collectors pay $70 - $80 for just the model .

Anyway , check the pix and opinions welcome .

Thanx .

Adam .

If that is a Mini-R chassis that thing is cool.

" No Mini -R s were harmed during this conversion process "

hehe ....

In fact your pretty spot on azz but the chassis has totally been destroyed and scraps of it placed throu-out the car . There is also no flex in it as ive strengthened
it up pretty tough .

For all that know about the mini-r , this goes slightly slower due to weight but a car this sexy and detailed in my opinion should not go fast cause its more a display piece with a twist , it should just cruise around the loungeroom .

1 major issue i did have though was that t e esc was heating up and seeing this is something im giong to sell on ebay and would have to offer full back up and repair service , i didnt want to risk a return so i beefed up the ouput transistors slightly by adding another pair . Now a 10 minute run doesnt even warm up the heatsink .

ill keep you all posted on a video clip tomorrow .

Ok guys , ive made a little video clip , i had to put the camera on the couch as no 1 was here to help film it .

The battery was running pretty low but was still able to get sideways . The thing sticking out out of the back seats is a battery pack as i was in test mode and still hadnt mounted it into the boodlid .

Go to the link my website link below and click on the mustang .

OK guys , got 1 mastered down to a tee and stress tested to the max .

Its the VW microbus and the reason ive chosen this is that they go for allot of money as a stand alone di-cast model so i hope this carries through to the di-cast remote control ( considering there are none available on earth ) .

im working on my ebay add for it at the moment but you guys will get first sneak preview , ive still got to put all my item description in it .

Let me know what yas reckon .
