what would happen to a novak rooster was put on a 3s battery. my clever missus borrowed one of my trucks today and rang me to ask what battery to use. she put the wrong one in it and aparently it went well on 3s. it was still going when the front end fell apart. would this do any permanent damage.

Has anyone else had problems with RCHobbies.com.au in Sydney ?

I ordered something from them and have been told that according to their records, it has been delivered however, I have not received the goods.

The signature on the docket has been signed for by the courier !

I am now trying to either get them to resend the item or give me a refund. My last resort is to issue a chargeback via my credit card.

I am very disappointed with the service so far and the management does not seem very proactive in resolving the issue.

I have had to spend the best part of the day ringing the courier they hired to understand where the parcel is....surely, this is their role !

I have no confidence in the couriers they employ however, I just hope they can do the right thing...

Does anyone have any positive things to say about rchobbies.com.au ?

Hey guys just wondering how far people will travel for a comp, there is a spot near me that is a huge rock, it has long drop toilets, camping plenty of a space for people to run their Baja's and other rigs, kids can run round and ride, was thinking maybe a bit of a endurance run, and a night comp with beers and a fire. Not sure what everyones thoughts are on this, if it would be a good idea or not

How on earth can the local Hobby King store sell batteries for $115 that are online in Aus warehouse for $59! Wtf... We are getting the shaft.
Oh, and the dude behind the counter didn't know his arse from apex and was rude as.... So why are Aussies buying online so much? Hmmm

Ok, so I got my SC8e, took it for its maiden run on the oval. After a couple of minutes, lost about half speed then it stopped. Initial thought was obviously flat batt so went back and charged it. This is a few cycle old gens ace 4s 5000mah. While that was charging swapped out the mamba max for the mamba monster from my truggy. Few laps up and down the street all seemed ok. Topped up battery again and took it somewhere more dirty and fun but after just a few mins lost power again. Like it'd take off great but lose power then stop. Nothing seemed hot, fan on MMM not even running. Mesh seems fine, steering is fine.
Dodgy motor or has my battery shit the bed? When I plugged the battery into the charger it read 15.85v. That's not too low for 4s is it?

I'm selling out the rest of my r/c gear, there is a fair bit..

FT B4 with heaps of spares, too many things to list. Car has run about three meets and was specifically built for a state titles back in the Bibra Lake Ryper days. It requires a rear shock tower only (i don't have a spare)

My r/c box has just loads of stuff in it, springs, bearings, oils, tyres, rims, shims, screws, you name it.

Included is a KO 2344 servo. Not included is any radio gear (receiver in pic not included).

Best thing would be to check out the full resolution image for a good close up of all items before asking any questions.

The entire thing is going for $150, firm. There is even some 1/10 onroad stuff there, keep it, sell it, whatever.

Also selling a Mamba 25 (8000) 1/18th brushless motor + esc + usb control cable for only $60. Turns any 1/18th vehicle in to a monster.

Anyone have any they'd sell me? Preferably the ones that weren't machined wrong from the factory but I'll take anything at this stage. RC shop is bloody hopeless in Mandurah
